# Finance & payment data management

The Finance & Payment extension is a powerful tool designed for B2B merchants to provide their customers with a self-service financial portal. By enabling this feature, merchants can offer transparent visibility into account balances, credit limits, and transaction history, directly within the customer’s account page.

* **Payment overview:** Shows critical payment data such as the current due amount, upcoming due dates, and total outstanding balance.
* **Credit limit overview:** Essential for B2B accounts, this displays the customer’s available credit, total credit limit, and currently used credit.
* **Order history:** Provides a detailed list of all past orders, their specific payment statuses, and a "quick payment" link for outstanding invoices.
* **Financial ledger:** Displays a comprehensive, chronological log of every transaction, including invoices, payments.
